Iran has built a fuel rod for nuclear reactor

Iranian scientists have announced the successful completion of the creation of its own fuel rods - the fuel element is required to operate a nuclear reactor.

This was reported in the statement released the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, ITAR -TASS.
The organization made ​​it clear that at this time the rod is placed in a research reactor in Tehran, where he is being tested in trial mode.
United States and several Western countries have repeatedly accused Iran of secret development of nuclear weapons, which eventually led to the introduction of the UN Security Council further international sanctions against the IRI, including a ban on the purchase of fuel rods in other states.
